Our journey has been full of every emotion and test of faith one could imagine. My family and I have been through so very much in the past year, but through it all the Lord has guided our every step with his amazing grace.
I have been blessed with the three most amazing guys a girl could ask for. My husband Mario, my 14 year old son Brayden, and our precious little Marco who is now being held in the arms of Jesus. We lost Marco at two months old last October (2012) to Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1. Through our incredibly difficult loss, the Lord has held us tightly and continued to show us the direction in which he has planned for us.
Mario and I had talked long before we were blessed with Marco, that we would love to adopt one day. We knew we had so much love to give and would be amazing parents together. So here we are! After lots of prayers and finding comfort knowing our precious Marco is being held in the very best hands, we know its time for us to grow our family... and so China here we come! We cannot wait to continue our journey down the Lord's path for us and meet our little one waiting just for us.
If anybody understands God's ardor for his children, it's someone who has rescued an orphan from despair, for that is what God has done for us. God has adopted you. God sought you, found you, signed the papers and took you home.
