Sign Sealed Delivered

Well, we have officially signed, sealed and delivered our adoption application to CCAI.  I will  not begin to say I have any idea what lies ahead for us, but I have full faith the Lord will be right next to us every step of the way.. .Hopefully he helps me with my issue of finding "patience", because I know this is going to be a long journey that will undoubtedly not work on my timeline... Knowing there is a special child waiting just for us to love and be his or her forever family makes this whole process so worth it.  The biggest revelation thus far was the medical checklist.  That took lots of prayers and research, but in the end, we are confident the Lord's perfect little "match" for us will be just as he intended.  If you read the "our journey" portion of this blog, you know we lost our sweet two month old son Marco, to spinal muscular atrophy last October (2012), when talking to people about our adoption choice of China, many people say "cant you only adopt special needs children from China", what is so funny to me, is that statement is beyond ironic, because Mario and I are the epitome of "special needs" parents.  We lost our child to a horrible disease that took over every muscle in his little body, I guess that is as special needs as it could get in our eyes. We realized we are just not the type of people to sign up for what others may consider the "perfect child", what we will sign up for is the "PERFECT CHILD MEANT FOR US"....  So for now we wait patiently for our official green light and then start our journey on the long road to China :) ...
